VESPA SUPER 150
Vespa 150 Super (VBC) released from 1966 - 1967, with the Piaggio logo in the shape of a square and the italic writing "Vespa Super" in dark blue aluminum.
Vespa 125 Super (VNC), only produced from 1965 to 1969 and its existence is very rare
During its development, the Vespa Super underwent several design changes to win the competition with Japanese motorcycle products at that time and avoid market saturation. The design changes contained in the Vespa Super, namely the change in the color of the handgrip rubber and box in side rubber which was initially gray in the Super output from 1966 to 1972 and then changed to black until the end of the Vespa Super production. The round-shaped headsets / handlebar can be found on the Vespa Super from 1966 - 1973 (a small part also on the Super output in 1974) then Piaggio redesigned the super trapezoid-shaped headlights until the end of 1979 production. Apart from that the design changes on the Vespa Super were often caused by driving safety regulations in a country. Here are some changes to the Vespa Super:
Basically the Vespa Super body is a version that is designed to be smaller than the Vespa Sprint. The Vespa Super uses a wheel circumference measuring 8 until the end of its production period, as opposed to the Vespa Sprint which was produced simultaneously and only uses a wheel circumference 10. Another difference that exists between the Vespa Super and the Vespa Sprint is the number of air vent lines on the engine cowl / engine edge, on the Super. there are 5 ventilation lines while in Sprint there are 6 air ventilation lines. The Vespa Super has aluminum trim on both edges but does not have the same trim on the mudguard / fender as found on the Vespa Sprint.
