The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani and VESPA 946 RED

The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani will be produced in an exclusive run of individually numbered scooters.

For 2015 - the 40th anniversary of the founding of Giorgio Armani and the 130th year of the Piaggio Group - Giorgio Armani signs the new version of the Vespa 946. Starting with the colour, for which the stylist has thought of a particular gray palette with a slight touch of green, visible only in particular light conditions.

 The metal parts, made with satin galvanic treatments, give a matt effect, in line with the finish of the bodywork. The Emporio Armani writing is placed on the side, while the iconic eagle logo is positioned above the headlight. Vespa 946 Emporio Armaniis not only synonymous with style, but with technology. 

The aluminum monoblocs, the brown leather finishes, the dedicated high-end accessories, the electronic management to support driving are combined with the innovative four-stroke engine with electronic injection, ideal for metropolitan mobility, designed for maximum reduction of consumption and emissions. The double 220 mm disc brake, the dual channel ABS braking system and the large 12-inch wheels ensure maximum safety on the road.

The collaboration between the Piaggio Group and (RED) - founded by Bono and Bobby Shiver in 2006 - has generated (VESPA 946) RED , which dresses entirely in red to contribute

to the fight against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. In the ten years since its founding, (RED) has generated more than $360 million for the Global Fund impacting over 70 million people — 100% of that money has gone to finance HIV/AIDS programs on the ground in Africa.

The beating heart of (VESPA 946) RED is a single-cylinder 125 cc 4-stroke , 3-valve , air-cooled and fueled with electronic injection, a very modern engine 

characterized by reduced consumption and drastic reduction of gaseous and noise emissions.
