Very Rare vespa T5 Rally

T5 rallying Prototype
As the only existing specimen in the world, the Vespa T5 Rally Prototype is a testament to Piaggio's intellectual property. Currently, the T5 Prototype Rally is on display at the Piaggio season in Pontedera, Italy. This condition also makes this motorbike a super rare status, very rare, so it is the target of world-class collectors.

The Vespa T5 Prototype Rally has a unique shape with various modifications.

T5 is the only remaining example of 4 experimental Vespas that were built in 1985 (the engine test was from 11 December 1985). The other 3 were demolished and the fourth survived "by chance" (it was the so-called "forklift" which was not used for racing). Piaggio actually built them for the Paris-Dakar, but then decided to stop the project and therefore demolished them.

The Vespa story begins in the aftermath of WW II in Italy. The economy was left crippled and the roads were in a disastrous state which made it difficult for the automobile and other manufacturers to reemerge.
